Infants & Toddler Care

Infants and toddlers need spaces that are designed to encourage active learning. These planned spaces provide a place where materials are grouped together around a specific idea to encourage exploration and manipulation. The materials included in this kit will capture infants and toddlers interest and provide meaningful ways to practice their developing abilities. Note: Kit components change occasionally due to availability. We will substitute developmentally appropriate items for the purpose for which they were intended.

The Grocery Store Lesson Plan & DVD Set

12 months & up. With beautiful real image photography on each page, these books introduce toddlers to animals in their natural habitat. From creepy crawlies to bears, this early introduction to the living creatures around us will capture the interest of every child. Set of 6 board books.

Birth - 3 years. Each kit represents just a sample of what is developmentally appropriate in an infant or toddler classroom. For example, not all recommended categories of toys and materials are included, and there are no duplicates. There are also no "consumables." Children grow and change on a daily basis. They benefit from a broad range of toys, materials, and equipment that match their growing abilities and interests.

Birth - 3 years. These kits are filled with a variety of engaging materials specifically selected to meet the developmental needs of early learners while creating a literacy-rich environment. Three configurations available: Young Infants; Mobile Infants and Toddlers; Twos. Please note: components may change occasionally due to availability. This kit contains toys for eight types of experiences that support children's development and learning. This kit features a sampling of items designed to enhance the experiences of "Imitating and Pretending" and "Enjoying Stories and Books" for Mobile Infants and Toddlers. The Devereux Early Childhood Assessment Clinical Form (DECA-C) is designed to be used by early childhood mental health consultants and other mental health professionals with select children, ages 2 through 5, who are already showing significant behavioral concerns.
