Nature to Play
Nature to Play by Rusty Keeler
Exclusively from Kaplan

The Nature to Play™ collection by Rusty Keeler speaks the playful language of childhood while encouraging children to engage with nature. Bring the early childhood environment outdoors where children will explore with all of their senses and can incorporate loose parts and natural elements into playtime.

Thanks to the open-ended essence of the Nature to Play™ collection, children can initiate their own learning experiences and engage in physical activity that is good for their minds, bodies, and spirits. The weather-resistant furniture in the Nature to Play™ line, made from thermally modified wood by Thermory®, stands up to rough-and-tumble fun and unpredictable outdoor elements, growing with children as they develop.

Inspired by children's creativity and treehouse ingenuity, the Nature to Play™ collection sets the stage for child-directed play, exploration, mess-making… and more creativity. Like children playing with loose boards, Nature to Play™ at once feels familiar and friendly—did kids build this?—and at the same time fresh and innovative—look at the detailing: it's so well put together! Mud kitchens, messy zones, pots, pans, milk crates, and more—these lively maker spaces are built with character to last and say "yes" to children's play.

Maintenance

Thermally modified wood naturally ages to a platinum gray over time. The durability of Nature to Play™ products is not affected by the color changes. To restore the original color tones, lightly sand the wood or apply a teak oil to remove the surface silvering.
