Infants and toddlers need spaces that are designed to encourage active learning. These planned spaces provide a place where materials are grouped together around a specific idea to encourage exploration and manipulation. The materials included in this kit will capture infants and toddlers interest and provide meaningful ways to practice their developing abilities. Birth - 3 years. Each kit represents just a sample of what is developmentally appropriate in an infant or toddler classroom. For example, not all recommended categories of toys and materials are included, and there are no duplicates. There are also no "consumables." Children grow and change on a daily basis.
