I received something from Tender Leaf and Influenster in exchange for this post. My son loves it so much. It’s perfect for a 4 year old boy like him. The quality is great and feels really safe for kids.The pieces are easy for him to play with, and I also help him build the tracks. We really enjoy playing together, and it’s such a nice way to spend quality time as a family.A fun, well made wooden toy that we truly enjoy.

This train set is super cute and fun overall, but it does have a few small drawbacks. The trains can be a bit tricky to keep on the tracks, I feel like the grooves could have been made a little deeper or the wheels a bit narrower. Storing it away is also kind of a hassle since there are so many little pieces. I keep ours in a deep container to make cleanup and organizing them easier. If you have younger kids, definitely keep an eye out since there are small logs, magnets, etc. Assembling it was easy just by looking at the box, and my son loves building the tracks in his own little ways. The smaller logs tend to fall off the trains pretty easily, which can be frustrating, but the colors and overall design are adorable. I love that the set includes extra features like a rotating log loader, a tree nursery, and a little lake with magnetic boulders. It really encourages imaginative play. It’s a fun and engaging set that can provide hours of entertainment. My twins and especially my son has spent hours playing with this set.

This wooden train set is really fun for the kids to play with. It’s a great quality set and the tracks will work with other big name wooden train sets. It has a lot of pieces which is good to keep the kids occupied but also bad if your kids aren’t good at keeping track of things ha ha. I love the concept of collecting logs for the trains but the little tractor with the magnetic crane does not work like you’d think it does. The magnet is fine and has the capability of picking up any of the pieces with a magnet on them but the crane part itself has very limited movement so it’s not as if you could pretend to transfer a log from the “forest” onto the train. I wish that was a little more thought through but it’s a cute idea. It’s still a cute set and one that we will get a lot of use out of especially when we add it into train sets we already have.

This wooden train set from Tender Leaf arrived in perfect condition. I did the initial setup for my younger one, which was quick enough, and he enjoys building his own railway adventures. The wooden pieces are durable, well-balanced, with no harsh odors. Moreover, the smooth finish, with no rough edges or splintering, ensures the safety of my child during play. The included accessories encourage creativity and storytelling, fostering essential cognitive skills. It would have been so much easier to store this if it included built-in storage, as it is a challenge to organize all the pieces after playtime. Overall, this eco-friendly set is a great way to stimulate imaginative play and nurture creativity in children.

I received the Tender Leaf Wild Pines Wooden Train Set - 95 pieces, in exchange for my honest review. My 6-year-old loves this train set dearly! Her dad built it the first day it came in the mail. The second day (after she played with it all day prior) she assembled the track - by herself-using only the picture on the box. This is endless play, set up fun, reconstruction, stacking, organizing, and moving an entire logging world! The train set includes an engine and three carriages to transport 27 logs. There is a logging truck with magnetic timber, and a magnetic motor vehicle as well! Play a lumberjack, see a sleepy bear, a lake and a big bear, in setup pieces that are included. Large trees are included to add near track bend and also tree nursery with various size new sprouted trees. Great for imaginative play. Perfect monastery toy. I would love to see more available sets through Tender Leaf, maybe a recycling plant? The train set is recommended for 3 years and older children. It includes smaller wood pieces. Only recommendation at the junctions of the train set which are two pieces, if the wood had deeper grooves for the train, the train would be able to stay on track more properly going around those bends

This train set is incredible. I received it, opened it for my kiddo and he was so thrilled. It’s easy to put together, versatile and super durable. You can tell it’s made with high quality materials. It’s a great value for your money. Highly recommend!

I’m really impressed with this train set! It’s magnetic and even the lumber and rocks are magnetic so it’s very interactive. My two year old and five year old have enjoyed playing! The quality is really impressive.

My 6 and 7 year old sons just got surprised with this beautiful, all wooden train set. I was not sure if a non-electronic toy would wow them but they wanted to go straight to building versus having screen time. I love a great, interactive toy that makes them utilize their creative thinking skills, gets them away from the screens and they can enjoy together. This toy is great for multiple age groups. Thoughtful design, nice packaging(that is streamlined so it doesn’t take up a lot of space) and hours of fun!
