This online training for the Learning Accomplishment Profile: Birth to Kindergarten (LAP™: Birth to Kindergarten) includes 3 modules, designed to share comprehensive information to administer and use this assessment tool with accuracy, efficiency, and impact. Module 1 introduces the LAP™, along with key goals and processes of a comprehensive assessment system in early childhood settings. Module 2 gives deeper technical information about the LAP™, and provides all the essential details on administration and scoring. Module 3 focuses on interpreting, reporting, and using LAP™ results to inform teaching and help each child achieve his or her potential. Participants learn about key child and classroom reports the LAP™ online tool can generate. Built-in supports to adapt classroom activities based on children's identified skill levels are discussed, along with strategies for sharing child assessment results with parents.
