The Child Development Associate® (CDA®) is a nationally recognized credential for early childhood professionals working in diverse settings. The CDA® Credential is appropriate for teachers working in infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms; for family child care providers; and for home visitors. This course provides an overview of the requirements and application process for the Child Development Associate® (CDA®) credential for infant, toddler, and preschool teachers and family child care providers. The course includes several field assignments that support CDA® preparation. CDA® Candidates who complete this course and field assignments will have tools to organize their CDA® portfolio and a professional development calendar. This is a 5-hour course worth .5 CEUs.
