3 years & up. These four comfortable dressing vests bring hands-on fastening practice into dramatic play. Fabric designs from Latin America, Asia, North America, and Africa add visual variety as children explore the easy-on, easy-off garments.
Buttons, zippers, snaps, and hook-and-loop closures offer several ways to practice dressing and fine motor skills. Children can investigate how each closure works, try fastening and unfastening it, and return to a tricky step as often as they like. An educator can invite children to name the fasteners, compare the motions they use, or help a classmate prepare for a pretend outing. These are optional play invitations, not extra pieces included with the set.
The set contains four soft vests made of 100% polyester. Their range of closures makes them useful for individual exploration as well as shared dramatic play. Machine-washable fabric supports repeated classroom use.

The children in our Older Two-Year Old room LOVE this product. As soon as we added it to our dramatic play center their eyes lit up and the play began!! Several months later and it is still the first item that the children go to. It is so rewarding to sit and watch the children interact with each other, making up stories and using their imagination! Sometimes they even invite us to come along!!
