About This Product

Influenced by Scandinavian kitchen design, this modern set features a butcher-block inspired countertop made of birch plywood, electroplated chrome goose-neck faucet, and farmhouse-inspired sink made of white ABS plastic. The metal oven-rack and faucet reinforce the Sense of Place Collection's mission of using authentically-inspired and sensory-based materials to provide an engaging experience for learners. The farmhouse sink and realistic ABS plastic burners can be removed for easy cleaning while the polypropylene (PP) plastic oven knobs, solid birch oven door handle, and acrylic oven window bring the smallest, authentic details from home to the classroom encouraging dramatic play. Constructed with white-laminated plywood interior and side panels, and a solid birch apron and feet, this sturdy kitchen is built for play. The cubby underneath the sink also fits a standard classroom woven basket, providing additional storage for dramatic play materials. Measures 40"W x 28"H x 16"D. So I have thought outside of the box when it comes to this little kitchen. I carefully have taken the top off of it a few times to transition it for different dramatic play centers- vet, groomers, infant care center, farmer's market, kitchen. I will add pictures. We love it in our classroom!
