The centerpiece of the Sense of Place Collection, the Fireplace serves as the central meeting point in the classroom, a place where children will gather in authentic learning, collaboration, and play. The solid birch mantel and white-laminated plywood shelves store books and display pictures and objects that reinforce children's natural connection to home. Clean with mild soap and water. Do not use cleansers, bleach, etc. Measures 52"W x 36"H x 19"D. Ships Fully Assembled. Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Kaplan is a leader in Early Childhood! This beautiful and extremely well crafted piece of furniture brings incredible life to our little Dramatic Play area. The children flock to it!!! It is so much more than I ever thought it would be! We have only had it a few days and it is amazing to see the care and love this piece brings. The whole tone and mood has changed in our classroom. The children began to move chairs and other pieces from the classroom to be near the fireplace. They bring baby dolls to rock and feed quietly. They spread out blankets to sit on and read by the “fire.” They gather books to read, pour tea, and invite their friends to come and relax with them. Goosebumps and tears!Well done, Kaplan!! This piece is a rare gem and true treasure!!
