Light and Color Textured Discs

18 months & up. Let children explore color, texture, and light with this 20-piece set of translucent textured discs. Each durable disc measures 2.8" in diameter and displays an organic pattern inspired by water, ice, or sand. Children can handle and arrange the pieces for tactile exploration, patterning, color recognition, and seriation. The discs are designed for continued use indoors or outdoors and interact with natural light or a light table. Offer them as loose parts so children can compare surfaces, notice how light changes what they see, and invent their own arrangements. The open-ended format supports discovery without prescribing a single way to play.
