Ellie Madden

About

Ellie comes to Kaplan after teaching 4th and 5th grade in Colorado. Ellie became passionate about education after serving at an after-school program for underserved youth in Fort Collins, CO. As a teacher, Ellie loved helping children have lightbulb moments where they learned a new skill or made a new friend. She is eager to continue facilitating those moments as a Kaplan representative.

Ellie's territory spans Colorado and Utah, including the cities of Denver, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Boulder, Salt Lake City, Provo, St. George, and Ogden. According to Ellie, early childhood professionals in this region want to optimize social-emotional learning, particularly as it pertains to self-regulation, STEAM, and access to early intervention. They also want to incorporate health and wellness into early childhood classrooms and increase access to professional development for providers. Ellie looks forward to helping these early childhood professionals accomplish their goals with Kaplan's products and resources.

When she's not working, Ellie enjoys skiing and taking her two dogs on camping and hiking trips. She loves all varieties of queso and Chai, and she loves to curl up with a good book (preferably historical fiction or anything by Emily Henry).
