Territory Manager – Connecticut, Massachusetts & Rhode Island
Since coming to Kaplan with a strong background in sales and public relations, Dave has accumulated over 19 years of industry experience.
During his time in the field of early childhood, Dave has developed a passion for supporting early childhood professionals as they help children reach their maximum potential and converted this passion into consistent early childhood advocacy. Dave is a past Co-president of the Connecticut Association for the Education of Young Children (CTAEYC) and currently serves as a Board Member at Large. Before that, he was Vice President of RIAEYC and served on the board that launched and managed BrightStars, which is Rhode Island's Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS). Dave also works with other regional early childhood organizations, such as the Massachusetts Association for the Education of Young Children (MAAEYC) and the New England Head Start Association.
Dave currently serves as Kaplan's Northeast Regional Sales Director, which encompasses the states of Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. Within this region, Dave is the Kaplan representative for Connecticut (his home state), Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. He regularly works with customers in cities such as Hartford, Bridgeport, New Haven, Boston, Lowell, Worcester, Woonsocket, and Providence. Dave's favorite Kaplan products are the Illumination Station, the Sense of Place Fireplace, and our collection of light tables.
Dave lives in Mystic, Connecticut, and enjoys spending time with his wife, daughters, and friends; working on home improvement projects; and taking his boat and kayak out on the water.
