DAY ONE
Introduction and Implementation to The Creative Curriculum® Approach for Preschool
This information-packed day of training offers participants condensed, "kick-start" training on implementing the Creative Curriculum® approach for Preschool in their classrooms.
- The philosophy on which The Creative Curriculum® approach was developed
- How to use The Creative Curriculum® 4th Ed. teacher guide as a valuable teacher resource
- Planning for implementation and integration of the curriculum into their daily instruction
- The learning environment, its impact on instruction and how to enhance the effectiveness of that environment
- An in-depth look at the teacher's role in a Creative Curriculum classroom
- Integrating learning through project-based instruction
DAY TWO
The Creative Curriculum® Assessment Toolkit
This day of training prepares participants to successfully use the Assessment Toolkit to assess the cognitive and developmental growth of children ages 3-5.
- Overview of child observation techniques and different types of assessment data collection methods
- Identification and use of the different components of the Assessment Toolkit
- Data collection and data recording procedures for the Assessment Toolkit

Walk-in Registrations
Walk-in registrations will be accepted only as space permits. We recommend that you contact our professional development department at 800-334-2014, ext. 3228 a minimum of one business day in advance to inquire about availability. In order to register on-site, you must bring a check or signed purchase order with you to the event.
Confirmation
All registration information must be provided and payment submitted before confirmation will be sent via email or fax. Each participant will receive confirmation of registration. If you are paying by purchase order, you must submit a signed copy of the purchase order via fax (336) 712-3243 or mail to guarantee your space and receive confirmation of your registration. Contact our professional development department at 800-334-2014, ext. 3228 with questions regarding the status of your registration.
Cancellation Policy
Full refunds of registration fees will be issued for cancellations received in writing via mail, fax or email five business days before the event start date. Cancellations received less than five business days prior to the start of the event will not be eligible for a refund or credit. Kaplan reserves the right to cancel any training within 21 days of the event with a full refund of the registration fee.
