Great Toy to Teach Lifelong Positive Attributes

I remember Etch a Sketch as a child. It provided me with hours of fun. I remember also that it was very challenging to patiently work the knobs just right to draw at an angle. Of course, the sketches didn't always come out exactly as I envisioned them, but I always felt a sense of satisfaction once I finished. This is perfect for any child to learn some of the virtues needed for later in life: patience, hand-eye coordination, creative thinking (envisioning a concept), and a sense of satisfaction for attempting a challenging project . . . and many other similar positives.

Not quite the way i remember them.

The lines were to thin and light for the children to see. The Etch A Sketch was to difficult to erase once the thin lines were made. For my three year old's it was difficult to shake it to clear it. They soon lost interest in that Etch A Sketch. Now it's left sitting on the table. That's not why i bought it.
