Older infants love this item. However, it does come off the base frequently. That is not a big deal; however, since it is safe and easy for them to crawl on all the pieces.

The Log was a huge hit for my nature early childhood class of 2 - 4 year olds! They loved it! I wished the log would stay on the stand but some high quality Velcro will fix that! Overall I am impressed with it!
