Have children tell you the color of the puzzle they have and read out each object on their board. If the object makes a sound, have children make the sound as well. These wooden inlay puzzles have rounded corners, with easy to grip, lift-out pieces. Printed next to each object are the identifying words. Each puzzle is .375" thick and measures 8.5" x 6.75"

Color Competition

5 stars
Fabulous and very engaging. My scholars first completed the puzzles independently. Then they worked together and ended up competing with each other to see who could complete the most or the fastest. My nonverbal students are now identifying colors by pointing. Some are requesting the colors they want to use by name. A few parents shared that their children are requesting and identifying what color they would like to wear. One mother said she was quite surprised when her daughter began naming the colors she saw in the store. These are simple educational puzzles that not only assist scholars in learning and identifying colors, but also increasing their vocabulary by identifying the pictures. I highly recommend these puzzles for any pre-k classroom.
