The product photo is a bit misleading, as it shows these baskets sitting nearly flush with the front of a Sense of Place shelf, implying that the basket closely matches the width of the shelf. In fact, the basket is only 9" wide, while the shelf is 15" wide, meaning a lot of storage capacity is gone by using these baskets. The baskets themselves look great and appear to be well-constructed, just very disappointed that the size doesn't match the shelf.

some edges are rough. I'm not sure how long they will stand up to the traffic of the student

Baskets are a great alternative to plastic containers and add aesthetic elements to the early childhood classroom. I love the handholds in these baskets, it not only makes it easier for children to transport supplies and materials but it also makes it easy to attach labels using plastic photo pockets and a zip tie.
