This compact market is the perfect addition to our class! We are going to use it as a grocery store, an ice cream shop, a hardware store, bakery and a pizza parlor! It can also perform as a puppet theater! This is much more cost-effective than another brand (it does hold 3 blue shopping baskets if you already own them). It was a breeze to put together and you can hand wash the awning when it gets dusty (or touched too much). All in all a great value and it seems like it will last a long time too!

We purchased this market for our play area. We laminated some signage for the canopy; so we can turn it into a pizza shop, grocery store or pet clinic every week or so. Love the baskets. Our only problem was getting the protective paper off the white board. This is a favorite- everyone loves this market!

We love this Carolina Market. It has so many uses - we change it out depending on our themes. For example, we used this for an ice skating rink concession stand. The children had to "rent" skates, and pay for them at the cash register. They could also "purchase" hot chocolate here as well. There are so many great ideas and ways to use this one piece of furniture. It has been so fun for the children.

I purchased this market stand for my in-home child care and am very pleased with it so far. It came with the bottom half already assembled, so we only needed to assemble and attach the canopy frame. It was a little tedious with the little hex wrench, but overall easy. The market stand is very sturdy and the perfect height for the preschoolers. The kids love it! I purchased six of the small woven baskets and they fit perfectly! I'm excited to use this versatile shelf as more than a market stand too; I envision it being turned into a vet clinic, post office, and much more. If I get adventurous enough I might even sew some other canopies since it is attached with velcro and would be easy to change out. I only wish I could choose which side to put the marker board on depending on which way we have it positioned in the room, but it's screwed onto the one side.
