Beverly Irby, EdD, is a Texas State University System Regents' Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership and Counseling at Sam Houston State University. Her research involves social justice activism issues, such as curricular development and the administration of bilingual/ESL instruction, early childhood interventions, gifted education, and women's leadership. She is author or co-author/editor of 24 books and more than 100 articles, and developer of the science components of the DLM Early Childhood Program for SRA McGraw-Hill.
