Beyond Cribs and RattlesBeyond Cribs and Rattles training moves beyond creating a safe and healthy environment. Participants discover how well-planned play experiences facilitate the development of skills and behaviors that children, birth to three-years of age, need as they embark upon the pathway of lifelong learning. During this training, participants will:

  • Learn the philosophy upon which the curriculum is predicated
  • Learn how to use the teacher's guide to fully implement the curriculum
  • Learn how to design developmentally appropriate play experiences
  • Learn how to build relationships with children and their families

Beyond Centers and Circle Time

Beyond Centers and Circle TimeBeyond Centers and Circle Time training enables participants to create a play-based program in which adults recognize the stages of children's play and provide rich, stimulating play opportunities that enable children to reach their potential. Focus is upon understanding the stages of play and how to use that knowledge to scaffold play experiences. During this training, participants will:

  • Learn the philosophy upon which the curriculum is predicated
  • Learn how to use the teacher's guide to arrange the environment to support meaningful play experiences
  • Identify of the stages of play
  • Learn how to appropriately scaffold the play experiences for each child
  • Learn how to enable parents to scaffold the play experiences of their children
