Head Start Body Start

Head Start Body Start National Center for Physical Development and Outdoor Play is a collaboration between the American Association for Physical Activity and Recreation and the National Association for Sport and Physical Education and is funded by a grant from the Administration for Children and Families. Head Start Body Start aims to increase physical activity, outdoor play, and healthy eating among Head Start and Early Head Start children, families, and staff.

Kaplan is proud to extend its long-standing commitment to Head Start teachers, caregivers, parents and children through its support of the Head Start Body Start Program. For 40 years, Kaplan has worked in close partnership with the Head Start community to support the vision and creation of a quality learning environment for children and families.
