The Beyond Centers and Circle Time© Curriculum Pre-K Theme Series for Florida VPK is designed to provide a blend between a developmental and a didactic approach to working with young children. This Theme Series will provide teachers with lesson ideas that will allow opportunities to offer direct information while allowing children to experiment and explore materials in order to create their own knowledge. The Beyond Centers and Circle Time© Curriculum Pre-K Theme Series is written to offer support to educators and parents who wish to maintain a balance between supporting their child's acquisition of skills and knowledge that will prepare him/her for later school success and the joys and delights of experiencing a playful childhood. Kaplan Early Learning Company has a complete professional development plan which consists of a choice of training opportunities which can either be used individually on their own time by educators, and also opportunities to participate in professional development seminars.

Beyond Centers & Circle Time Pre-K Theme Series Training

Beyond Centers & Circle Time (BCCT) is a play-based curriculum through which adults are taught to recognize the states of children's play and how to provide rich, stimulating play opportunities that support children's development of skills and knowledge that will insure their success later in school. This training focuses on the authentic assessment tools provided in the BCCT Pre-K Theme Series for Florida VPK. These tools will help adults assess children's skills and knowledge to plan developmentally appropriate experiences. The training will also demonstrate the use of the theme series. The nine themes are designed to provide adults with information that will support the implementation of a quality pre-kindergarten program that is guaranteed to delight and engage young children.

In conjunction with major early childhood education conferences throughout the state, Kaplan is offering pre-conference training opportunities on Beyond Centers & Circle Time Pre-K Theme Series for Florida VPK.

The registration fee of $499.00 per person includes includes training materials and handouts. Each Beyond Centers and Circle Time© Curriculum Pre-K Theme Series purchase includes one ticket for one participant to attend a 3-day professional development session.
