We Care About Kids

At Kaplan Early Learning Company we are committed to kids… to their development… to their social and emotional health… to their well being. Here are a few ways we demonstrate that commitment:

Support of Head Start — from the beginning Kaplan has been a generous supporter of Head Start locally regionally and nationally.

Devereux Partnership — Since 1912 the Devereux Foundation has provided high quality human services to children and families. Kaplan is proud to partner with Devereux in marketing Devereux Early Childhood Assessment (DECA) Program, which offers premier tools for assessing and promoting children's social and emotional health.

Research Partnership — Kaplan has partnered with the world renowned Frank Porter Graham Child Development Center at the university of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. FPG is one of the nation's oldest multidisciplinary institutes for the study of young children and their families. Most recently the book All About the ECERS has been developed by researchers at the FPG Child Development Institute in conjunction with Kaplan Early Learning Company.

Community Support for Kids — In Winston-Salem North Carolina, the community in which we live and work, Kaplan is committed to supporting organizations that care for kids. Kaplan has provided financial support to Brenner Children's Hospital at Wake Forest University Medical Center, the Winston-Salem Children's Museum, and the Sciworks Science Center. We have also supported the Forsyth County Smart Start Initiative. In Lewisville, the community where our offices are located, we have donated playground equipment for the Lewisville Town Center. Kaplan cares about kids and about our community.
